the only reason why this fight is not happening is because of marquez ridiculous demands. marquez acts like a prima donna,wants a big payday and insults pacman. too bad he got nothing to bring to the table. he's never gonna get his third fight. at 142 marquez has no chance of winning. he will get destroyed.

Not if you don't give him any PPV upside it isn't. They should let him choose, $2.5-$3 mil guarantee, with a small PPV upside that could get him to $4-$7 mil depending on actual numbers, or offer a $5mil guarantee.

If they have it in Texas, i'm sure JJ won't mind throwing in an extra few mil like he did for Clottey. Arum can swing it easily. It's not like JJ won't offer 1.5-2 mil extra to have it in his stadium, rather than letting Vegas have it.

I believe Marquez said he'll weigh whatever Manny weighs....he can't be weight-drained like Cotto....He probably walks around 3 pounds less than Manny....

JMM isn't getting a better deal than he got for wifebeater.

at max he gets $2 mill guarantee + small PPV upside. that means he possibly can get up to $5 mill overall if the PPV sells well, which it might not since JMM is generally considered too small as he is a lightweight.

but asking for $5 mill guarantee is a non-starter. I would've just walked from the table like arum. it's ridiculous and shows you ain't serious about the fight.
