there have been some eciting UFC fights

but most of wat ive seen is they throw a few jabs and then they wrestle down to the floor where one guy has his nuts on sum guys face and they start to breath hard and they get stuck there more 5 min.

Boxing is my favorite of the two. There's very little defense in MMA other than the ground tactics.

If I had to choose, I choose boxing, I don't care too much for the "ground and pound" technique or the grappling moves...i don't see much sport in choking a guy out, breaking their arm, or sitting on a fools chest half naked elbowing him in the face...

Boxing is far superior in regard to skill. I really don't get into watching them roll around on the floor or being able to kick a man when he is down.

they both take a tremendous amount of talent and skill. fortunately ill never have to choose between one or the other. if forced, probably boxing tho.

MMA has some great fights , i prefer pride to UFC , more stand up and better fighters , but i prefer boxing .

nothing compares to castillo-corrales or the fragile strenght and god given talent of floyd mayweather.

i just saw the replay of matt hughes and trigg again. hughes is champ and was basically out while trigg was on top of him pounding him. next thing you know hughes is on his back and choking him out. that was pretty dramatic.
