Las Vegas - Four junior welterweights hit the IBA Gym to hold private workouts for the American and British press. WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan, and his challenger Marcos Maidana, put in some hard work. The boxers who are scheduled to clash in the HBO televised co-feature, Lamont Peterson and Victor Ortiz, were also on hand and worked out for the media. The doubleheader takes place on Saturday at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Photos by Chris Cozzone.

I would have to imagine it's not very easy for him. Didn't he come in at like 143 against Harris? I've heard rumors hes had trouble making it in the past. He usually re-hydrates back up to ~152 on fight night too

Whicked album! Thats gonna be a fun card I can't wait for it. Ortiz looks like a MONSTER. I always said he's too big for 140, I hope he moves up soon, this Peterson fight can be dangerous, Ortiz still has defensive flaws n Peterson's a good fighter, but Ortiz's power might be a game changer.
