It takes at least three months to promote a PPV fight event. The contracts for Wlad/Haye are not signed and no location has been booked. They wouldn't be fighting until late March at the earliest.
There would be absolutely no reason for Wlad to pass up on the money and the easy fight, and well as a great opportunity for a tune up.
It's also not the way K2 does business.
