Sure, he could probably cut weight and get down to 147 but he wouldn't be at a good weight for himself so why would he do that? Why would he put himself at such a disadvantage fighting the best p4p fighter in the world, who just "won" a JMW title? Martinez said he could get down from MW and if Manny didn't want to fight him at 154 then that was fine. You have to draw the line somewhere as far as going up in weight.

The reason he's talking about Manny, Floyd and Cotto is because they are the biggest possible names he could fight. When a fighter finally gets in a position to get big money fights, they go for it. As a Pacquiao fan, you should know this.

You can't argue that. There is nothing to argue about. Who ever is telling you that Margarito was "weight drained" is an idiot. Margarito was "picked" to fight at 150 to represent a JMW.

He was "selected" to fight at the weight class and weight that would suit Pac. There was no weight draining for this fight. Just "cherry picking" to get a title at 154.

The man is 35 years old, he's looking for the biggest money fights, because he has a small window to continue to fight at a high level. Both Mayweather and Pac has fought at 154. Pac more recently so that in all is MORE of a reason that Pac should be fighting Martinez over Mayweather who's last fight was AT WW. Pac's was at JMW.

Its a legit fight without adding all the excuses into the mix. If you look at the black and white part you will see 154 titles next to both Mayweather and Pac's name. That means its legit for them to fight Martinez who's not a natural MW. He's a small MW who spent most of his career at JMW. He's shorter than both De La Hoya AND Margarito. Two guys Pac fought and beat. Its not Martinez's fault that they were shot or drained or what ever excuse is made.

The FIGHT is legit. Its just the fact that people have such LOW standards for Pac. Not Mayweather, no. We expect him to fight Martinez that's for sure.
