I'm not even sure if these are "casual" fans, these are things I read on message boards. These people didn't seem sarcastic when they said it, they seemed like they really believed it.
    • Mike Tyson was just as good when he fought Lennox Lewis as he was in the late 80s.
    • Antonio Margarito was framed because he is Mexican.
    • Marvin Hagler would have completely dominated Michael Spinks. Not p4p, but straight up at 175 lbs.

Just a couple days ago, people were debating on ESB what a "duck" is, and someone replied "ducking is all about not fighting someone who calls you out, no matter what the money is and status".

So apparently, Floyd Mayweather ducked Courtney Burton, Oscar De La Hoya ducked Arthur Abraham, Rid**** Bowe and Lennox Lewis ducked 168 lb. James Toney in the 1990s, and Roy Jones ducked a 38 year old Tommy Hearns in 1997.

Here's another terribly ****** thing, courtesy of someone at ESB.

Why do we needed judges when we have compu box?

Men Lie, woman lie compu box dont!

If we can calcualte who landed the most power punches and who landed the most jabs, hooks, right hand ect, why can't boxing just come up with an formula that uses compu box, instant replay and other theories to determine a winner. As of right now everything is oppinated by a bunch of know it alls, and when refs miss knockdowns judges who no better, but are not allowed to score it are useless. That works the other way around to when a fighter gets triped and it is called a knockdown.

I'm not saying we wait 20xtra minutes to determine a winner I'm saying why can't we have reviewers like how football does, so when the fight is still going on there watching controversal acts that take place during the fight

I'm not say compu box is perfect, but he'll it's better than paid off home town judges. I had an agrument with an idiot who told me "Judah got cheated in the mayweather fight so that's why he's not gonna watch Mosley vs Mayweather, I simply told check compu box and get back to me.

I still know pridefull mexicans he think Oscar beat Floyd, I know it was boring and looked close to the naked eye, but compubox doesn't lie when it comes to numbers and percentages. I mean we do everything else in the world by % why not this.

I'm not saying this Is the only answer, but it sure beats dumb judges, because at the end of the day we need one system to judge a fight by, some people I gave him that round because he was the agressor, and some say ring generalship or even cleaner punches.

Really, he is. Pernell didn't have offense like Manny. Pernell just relied on running away while punching. Marvin wasn't incredibly skilled either, he relied on great conditioning and endurance.

I've never seen a fighter use the southpaw stance like Manny does. The way he uses it to set up his power shots, how he throws "crossover punches" as if he was playing basketball, and he has a great right hand now.

He's the most well-versed southpaw of all time.

'Yeah Foreman knocked out Ali'. I'm pretty new but last time I checked nobody stopped Ali until the Holmes fight in 1980. He even fought through a broken jaw in his match with Ken Norton.
