I'm not even sure if these are "casual" fans, these are things I read on message boards. These people didn't seem sarcastic when they said it, they seemed like they really believed it.
Just a couple days ago, people were debating on ESB what a "duck" is, and someone replied "ducking is all about not fighting someone who calls you out, no matter what the money is and status".
So apparently, Floyd Mayweather ducked Courtney Burton, Oscar De La Hoya ducked Arthur Abraham, Rid**** Bowe and Lennox Lewis ducked 168 lb. James Toney in the 1990s, and Roy Jones ducked a 38 year old Tommy Hearns in 1997.
- Mike Tyson was just as good when he fought Lennox Lewis as he was in the late 80s.
- Antonio Margarito was framed because he is Mexican.
- Marvin Hagler would have completely dominated Michael Spinks. Not p4p, but straight up at 175 lbs.
