Your just a f****ing hater boy... Manny has been fighting in and around the WW division for quite sometime now that his optimum effective weight has become 144lbs., he even fought for the light middleweight title weighing only 144lbs. at the weigh in.. The catchweight was a necessity when he was challenging the bigger guys, coz you have to remember that Manny was still considered as a blown up featherweight then when he first climbed to fight Oscar... Now with Marquez, you are accussing a man of losing his integrity for not agreeing in a catchweight that is totally unnecessary in the first place... Why will i say unnecessary, Marquez was 146lbs. at fight night for the lightweight title fight with Katsidis, Manny was 148lbs at fight night for the Margarito fight, that's only a difference of 2lbs.... Yes it sucks not to be the cash cow coz Marquez has no choice but to agree, but Marquez, as great a fighter as he is can always do a Pacquiao, coming in at he's optimum weight of 144lbs even for a light middleweight fight... So even if the fight is set at WW limit, Marquez can go in at he's optimum weight and so is Manny and their fight night weight i bet would land closely similar to each other!!!

You too, dipsh#t, Marquez already agreed to fight Pacroid at welterweight. After that it became another series of excuses, "He wants too much money", "He's not a draw", etc.

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has come under fire in the last few days. Most of the negative press was related to a potential third fight with Juan Manuel Marquez. The Mexican lightweight champion was requesting a catch-weight for a third meeting with Pacquiao. The Filipino fighter's team quickly rejected his request and advised Marquez that any potentional fight with Pacquiao would have to take place at the full welterweight limit of 147-pounds. The refusal didn't sit well with a number of people, because Pacquiao himself has used catch-weights in several of his biggest fights.

Basically he is saying to the Boxing world that be ready to get ass fucked at the negotiating table because Manny and co think they are bigger than Boxing and everyone else, basically a catch weight is only okay when they want one but they can't give one out and that's horse shit

catch weights serve one purpose and thats too make the fight fair and square. catch weights have been done for decades. so pac isnt the only one. look at these guys pac has fought they still come in 10-15 lbs heavier.

imagine if there was no catch weights for pacs recent fights. these guys would be so much bigger and stronger than pac. so really whoever signs up to fight pac are already thinking their main advantage is their size and weight. guys are still coming in almost 20 pounds heavier than pac after catch weights.
