I'll be really stoked if this fight is signed.

Great contrast in styles and I'm surprised Gamboa's management is willing to risk fighting John when they have a big payday with Juanma being planned next year.

Gamboa is one of my favorite prospects and I'll have even more respect for him if he takes this fight before taking on Juanma.

I think Gamboa has the goods to win. This is his biggest test. I believe this will be Gamboa's coming out party.

I think a lot of fighters get blamed for "ducking" opponents, when it's usually their handlers who are responsible. In the end, most fighters tend to listen to their advisors. Also, in most cases, the boxer fights whom he's told to fight.

Yuriorkis really seems like one of those guys who's so ****y he doesn't care whom he fights. He honestly believes he's the man and wants everyone to know it. If Gamboa (hopefully) wins this fight against John, the anticipation for a showdown with Juanma will increase tenfold.

this is a good fight. i feel john's experience can potentially frustrate & outclass gamboa... BUT, gamboa's so explosive he might be able to catch john.

This is a great fight if it comes off because its between 2 top FWs and Gamboa can win the WBA title for real and not be walking around a pretend unified champion.

wowwwww this is super duper awesome fight if it gets made, which i say why wouldnt it. two great fighters that are going to give there all and put on a show for us boxing fans.
