I remember seeing a lot of (close) empty seats watching it on TV.

Really? I watched it on a stream because I didn't have Showtime back then but I thought it was pretty packed. If it wasn't, then yeah, Bradley-Alexander is gonna be lucky to do 5K.

Big shame too. If one of them was English and this fight took place in England. 20K easy. Big, raucous crowd. Gotta give the Brits credit there, they support their boxing.

Unfortunately, it's pretty much dead in America.

Wrong. Dan Rafeal confirmed that there was 5000 people. Were you at the fight or are you just talking ****? The lower bowl was pretty full except in the corners. If Abe/Dirrell can do 5000 with no ads in the paper or any advertising from a little network like SHO, then surely this fight will do a much bigger audience. HBO should do their job, as the promoters and put ads in both newspapers, the radio, and maybe a few tv commericals(ufc did the same when it came last month). This fight will do plenty more than 5000 and probably will do more than 10,000.

Who cares, this guys don't care about $$$ and don't let their egos get bigger than their manhood. Like another poster said, the best fighting the absolute best, none of this catchweight or fighting fighters past they're prime. Hell I'm excited about the 118 and 140 divisions, guys aint ducking e/o, and I don't care if Khan gets KTFO he faced Maidana and that's all that matters.
