I doubt Pacquiao will defend his 154 pound title. It was more of a publicity stunt by Arum to get more buys out of the Pac/Margarito fight. The problem with a Pac/Martinez fight is that Martinez is a natural middleweight. I like watching Martinez fight but if he wants to collect belts in middleweight, he should be going after fighters in that class. I'd like to see him take on Bute or Froch. Since he holds the 160 belts, I don't see it being a problem if he negotiates a catchweight with them.

wonderful if it was possible but we all know its not going to happen. it would have been great though if it could and i guess i can be wrong. we will see what happens down the road

Thanks for includng Pacman(a natural 135 lber) in fights of 160 lbs championships. And BTW if Pac def Martinez and got his 9th world title, Bute will say I can make 160, so defend your 160 lb title I'll stake my 168 lb title. If Pac wins, Sad Chad will say, I can make 168 lb defend your title I'll stake my Green beret Shorts. And you know what Klitschko isn't too far ahead..^^
