Didn't Sergio say he would have to cut-off his legs just to make 154?

Manny Pacquiao will beat Martinez, 154 is the right weight. I think Martinez might come down to 154, they have been talking about a catch-weight at 155. But 155 is too much. Manny is still a small 154/147 pounder so I'd say make the fight at 154 or not at all. I'm pretty sure the fight can get made at 154.

He said the same before both the Margarito and Williams-Martinez rematch, that he would like to see Pac in the ring with the winner. Nothing new here.

But Arum is not with that. He wants to reward Mosley for leaving GBP and a Martinez fight is the highest risk, lowest reward fight. In terms of possible $ generated it goes:

Marquez
Mosley

Berto
Martinez

Marquez is with GBP and wants more $ than he's worth, so he's out. Arum wants nothing to do with Pac fighting the lineal MW champion, even at 154-55, so he's out. That leaves Mosley and Andre, Arum would have to co-promote the latter and Berto is not a known commodity in Boxing like Shane... so the choice is obvious for Bob.

Only hope we have for not seeing a Pacquiao-Mosley mismatch/glorified sparring massacre is if Pac unexpectedly picks Berto and Arum actually listens.

Why wouldnt there be a Catchweight? Pacquiao can't even make 150 let alone 160. Pac also made more in his last fight that Martinez has made in his entire career. If Martinez wants a shot at fame and fortune then fight Pacquiao at his best weight, 147. If not then keep fighting for peanuts.

Yes it's all very confusing. When it comes to JMM, Pac is too big to make 140. When it comes to Miguel Cotto Pac is too small to make 147, and he needs 7,000 calories a day just to make 145. When it comes to fighting Margarito at a CW of 150, Margarito should have no problem because he is a career WW right, and MP is too small and needs 7,000 calories a day just to get to 144.8? Alas when they beat Margarito, they didn't beat a career WW who could easily make 150, they in fact beat a much larger Super Middleweight.....but Alas again, when Sergio Martinez is floating around Pac is too small again........
