Even if Pacquiao beat Martinez, it wouldn't be a great win imo, now I know people will WTF! at that statement, but im not sold on Martinez, I really aint, infact I think he is a B class, to B + class fighter, he is not slick in the slightest, infact is very hittable, does not always pick the right times to jump in with his attacks either, so whilst I think its a dangerous fight for Pac, if Pac won, I personally wouldn't consider it a GREAT! win, only I know if he did win, that to die hard Pacquiao fans it would be as good as proving that he could handle any! counter puncher in history, and that is the kinda thing I'd like to guard against, the overreaction there would be to a potential win over Martinez.

Martinez beat Williams of coarse, but im not sold on Williams either, matter of fact, I think the likes of Williams, Pavlik, Martinez, are there or there abouts on the same kind of level, just that Martinez happens to be marginally better.

So do I, I think its one of those where promoters throw out names that you know their fighters is never going to face, only for surprise surprise, them to be facing another tailor made stiff a few months later, thats the Frank Warren style of promoting anyway.

Nope, I said after the Margo win that he was overrated, that he was nothing more than a punching machine, ask Burner, infact im sure I have previous posts that say that.

Martinez is just shouldering the hype that was following Williams around, only neither of them deserve, or deserved it in Williams case.

As far as I am concerned, Sergio is already at the 'right weight'. Pacquiao now has to get there. If the fight happens then great. Otherwise, I am not interested.

He took Oscar at 147, but then Cotto at 145, and then Clottey at 147. Then Marg at 150, and I think he can try 154 now perhaps.
