disagree. sanders punches from the southpaw stance which makes it much easier to walk into his shots. his 18 1st round ko's are indicative of this. Peter has not had a lot of big 1st round knockouts. hes more of a clubber. he wears you down with his strength. he's big and strong but doesnt have the speed and snap that sanders had. I am predicting peter to stop wlad,,,but not as early and easily as sanders did. I think wlad will be able to avoid the bombs early,,but mentally wear himself out again and eventually be stopped. it is by far peter's most dangerous fight tho,, and Id definitely be nervous if I were his handlers,,he's still untested and fought no one near the caliber of wladimer

I agree about the south paw thing. I never really looked at it that way. But Wlad's chin is still a little suspect in my book. If he can weather the early storm, he might beat Peter in the later rounds. Maybe. I know alot of people question his stamina, but they need to look at Peter's stamina as well. Peter has only been past the 7th round 3 times. and most KO's he has come within the first 5. This fight could go either way, but I am picking Peter.

In the fourth round Wladimir Klitschko managed to floor Monte Barrett for the second time in this fight, then - some seconds later - Barrett landed a left hook that in my honest view stunned Klitschko.
Barrett is not that big a puncher, is he??
Why do boxing fans and experts keep saying Wladimir Klitschko is one of the most talented heavyweights? I do not get it - he can punch hard, but I do not rate his footwork, general movement and chin as anything special. Shouldn't a talented fighter have those characteristics to some certain extent? Just a question, do not want to attack anyone ...
I'd have to agree with the footwork thing, but I think Stewart has made good improvements on that as seen with Castillo.

IF Wlad does what he did in the Sanders fight (not using his hands to block, but hoping that turning his head would stop the punch) in the Peters fight, it will be much worse for him. But, we're hoping he's learned to bob-weave, keep circling, and fluster his oponents with elusiveness.

not sure how much weight it has to it, but do remember that even though vicious power of Sanders jolted the crap out of Wlad and you could literally see the birds and stars flying around, that fight did end with Wlad on his feet, each time beating the count.

I am a Wlad fan, I watch the fight a few days ago, and Wlad WAS stunned for a momment by Barrett. Wlad was dominating that fight and let Barrett get a good shot off, but he recovered fast. I counted 5 knockdowns and with how Barrett has been fighting lately, I would call that a good win for Wlad.

I dont think Peter will score the way Sanders could with reach and speed, but I am worried about Peter just rushing in like Brewster did to Golata. I think Wlad will be able to keep Peter back with his jab and straight right though, so I still favor Wlad

hopefully he's learned to use his weight to lean on someone and hug them to tire them down if they are rushing and emphasizing the inside game.

Wlad can take punches, but he has been vulnerable to strong left punches.

In Catillo fight, Stewart has made Wlad refocus his defense, paying particular attention to the left punches.

Hopefully this will become a permanent improvement in Wlad's defense.

Wlad's a very talented offensive fighter, He's going to show all the haters just how good he is once he fights over-weight Peter. Stamina IMO he never had a problem with, just in the Brewster fight, and in the Corrie Sanders fight he fought arguable the hardest punching HW at the time.

Klitschko's just gonna pop the jab in Peter's face all day long and cruise to a TK08.
I was just setting some of these people straight, Klitschko knocked Barret down like 6 times in the fight and they still say Barret had him hurt or some **** like that, thas just all crap..
