If 14 days was OK in January then why is 7 days not acceptable to get this fight on in May?

i heard the test would end 3 or 4 days before the fight its a fact coming from the OSDT testers for the fighters protection.

the thing i dont get is this:

during the last week of training leading up to the fight, the fighters taper down their heavy training and start relaxing, right?

So i don't understand how taking PEDs within the 7 days would help conditioning, strength, etc etc during your light portion of training camp.
