    Danny's three most significant wins...

(What is this, "threads about Danny day"? Okay, I'm still in mourning, bear with me...)

    1. Winning the British title by knocking out Mark Potter... left-handed only, after his right arm was dislocated from the shoulder

    2. TKOing title challenger Kali Meehan in 32 seconds

    3. TKOing Mike Tyson in half the time it took Lennox.

Those three pretty much sum it up for me, although I would move the KO win over Tyson up on your list. That fight is what made Williams an overnight sensation here in the states.

Yeah, in terms of importance, you're right. But Tyson WAS shot... I was doing it in terms of exceptionality. Have you seen the Potter clip? It's unbelievable.

Meehan has only looked good in one high-profile fight, and that was against a bum who didn't deserve the belt he carried to the ring.

Danny Williams lost to Julius Francis, who Tyson knocked down 5 times. Tyson led 30-25 on the cards after THREE rounds, but couldn't handle the layoff and his conditioning wouldn't allow him to be leaned on without getting tired. Plus he blew out his knee in round one.

Danny was the right guy at the right time in July.

But he's done now as anything more than the answer to a trivia question, at least in the big title picture. He has to hope some other "name" fighter will schedule him and he can't get his name back in the mix. I don't really see that happening anytime, soon, though.

Maybe he should call out Audley Harrison...

The Tyson and VK fights are the only Williams fights I've seen, so I won't pretend to think I know which of his wins are the best, but I do want to see his fight with Potter, I heard it was phenomenal.

Well, sorry guys, but I have to do this.

            Danny's three most significant losses:

            1. Losing to Julius Francis on points (118-114) for the British Heavyweight and Commonwealth Heavyweight Title.

            2. Got beaten up by Sinan Samil Sam and lost after being down three times by way of TKO in the 6th.

            3. Being completly outclassed by Vitali Klitschko and lost by TKO in the 8th after being down 4 times.
