Also he may not be the next Taylor but his a volume puncher with quite a bit of skill as mikkell kessler admited when they sparred in sydney.

Don't give me this bull****. Like you've seen many of his fights. Unless you live in Australia, you have not seen **** from Soliman. Only 2 fights of Solimon was shown in the US. I don't need to watch 20 fights from a boxer to judge him. I've seen his last fight & this guy doesn't deserve a title shot, a guy like Strum & Eastman deserves it more then him. Don't act like you've seen many of his fight, because you haven't. All I know that he hasn't beaten anyone, how in the world this guy is ranked #1. Where did all of these Soliman fans came from.

How is it a joke that he is ranked #1? The joke is the fact that you would even bother commenting on this issue when he have only seen one of his fights (a fight that he won 99-91, 99-91, 96-93 mind you). What more could the guy possibly do? Lets look at his career:

- 7 losses, all came at a time when he was concentrating more on kickboxing than boxing and 4 of them were in his opponents backyard.
- Never been dropped
- His last loss was against Anthony Mundine which was a flat out robbery. Since then he has reeled off 19 straight wins.
- Has fought 17 times in the last 3 years.
- Has learnt to sit down on his punches as evidenced by 8 KO's in his last 10 fights.
- Dropped Raymond Joval for the first time in his career on route to winning 120-107, 120-107, 119-108.
- Not that it matters but has the personality promoters dream their champs would have.

It is a joke. If you don't know it by now, then I can't help you.

Sols worked his way up and deserves a crack against a name, he's a top ten middle for sure, i don't think hes no1 but he deserves an opportunity to show his ranking against maybe eastman, sturm etc, he could do with a good scalp now hes got a ranking
