not sayin that he will become champ, but he aint no chump. When he came to my home town about a month ago he didnt look bad. Started out slow then his corner told him what to do, he did it, and he won. A real people person. Dont forget, bernard could have fought soliman but instead he fought taylor.

I know he's a nice guy. but I don't judge fighters like that. I'm not impressed with this guy & I don't think he deserves to be the #1 ranked guy.

One fight was enough for me, I saw his last fight against Fernando Zuniga. After Taylor beats Bitchkins again, I rather see Taylor fighting a guy like Winky, Strum or Lacy then Solimon. Even Eastman will be a better fight.

about who he should fight next i agree, but to use one fight as a basis for your whole argument is ridiculous. Lewis looked like **** against McCall, ali looked like **** against holmes, tszyu v hatton. etc....

Just look at Solimon's record & the people he has fought. Lewis got knocked out with one punch, that was different. I saw enough from Solimon & I don't want to see it again.

How is it a joke that he is ranked #1? The joke is the fact that you would even bother commenting on this issue when he have only seen one of his fights (a fight that he won 99-91, 99-91, 96-93 mind you). What more could the guy possibly do? Lets look at his career:

                    - 7 losses, all came at a time when he was concentrating more on kickboxing than boxing and 4 of them were in his opponents backyard.
                    - Never been dropped
                    - His last loss was against Anthony Mundine which was a flat out robbery. Since then he has reeled off 19 straight wins.
                    - Has fought 17 times in the last 3 years.
                    - Has learnt to sit down on his punches as evidenced by 8 KO's in his last 10 fights.
                    - Dropped Raymond Joval for the first time in his career on route to winning 120-107, 120-107, 119-108.
                    - Not that it matters but has the personality promoters dream their champs would have.
