Mayweather dominates Pacquiao if he boxes on his toes for 12 rounds

I made a thread saying Manny would beat Floyd. The Floyd who fights in the pocket that is. If Mayweather boxes its over for Manny.

Floyd of lately likes to fight in the pocket and counter punch his opponents or simply break them down in the pocket. He doesn't choose to box on his toes or with fleet-footed-ness. Sitting in the pocket with Manny is the only way Manny can set up his combos and potentially win the fight. If Floyd boxed on his toes all night (due to his great stamina), this fight would be boring but a simple clear cut win for Floyd by UD because Manny cannot outbox Floyd....period!! Manny would simply be embarrassed.

I hate that this fight may not happen and I like both fighters in the ring, but if Floyd fought on his toes and boxed it would be like Leonard-Duran 2. This is the truth.

When has Mayweather done this against southpaws? If they faught, Mayweather would attempt to walk him down.

Does not make him incapable. If his game-plan was to box box box he would win easy. Prove me wrong, theoretically that is.

not now, I think pac takes it, people forget pac is very agressive, on top of that he has amazing movement and his angle and combination punching will get him the knock out in my opinion

mosley landed 2 good shots against floyd, both almost dropped floyd and certainly buckled him, I think pac will be landing all night long

Once again that was the Floyd that fought in the pocket, box box box and its a boring yet different story. Understand

I understand but fighting at a distance or attempting to and then getting out of firing line is impossible

pac will close the distance and use his movement to land punches all night long

                what makes pac more dangerous

a fighter that attacks pac so he can counter him with his angle and combo punches and then moving out of the way

                or

a fighter that stays back and tries to out box pac, thus allowing pac to pressure him and come in from all angles to land his angle and combo punches?

I think Mayweather's more comfortable fighting southpaws at close range. Personally, he would increase his chances of winning if he did that.
