If Floyd wants to damage Pac, fight Berto

I don't want to take anything away from Berto, but Floyd wins comfortably.

It's a legitimate fight and he'll get props for it.

And Floyd will reverse everything Pac's done in taking on Margarito (you can hate all you want, but Pac had to dig deep at times and took punishment), and then Mosley. No question, Floyd will be considered P4P No. 1.

And it then puts Pac in a very difficult position after Mosley. Berto is no longer a credible fight, it's Floyd's leftovers again. All the talk about Floyd's record takes a back seat to Pac's choosing of Mosley.

Martinez becomes the only real option in light of the unofficial 140 tournament. It's a dangerous fight and he'll take punishment.

Floyd fighting Berto causes Pac and Arum all sorts of problems.

you gotta look in the future though. Pac is set to fight mosley (margarito is in the past). If floyd fights berto and pac fights shane, who's going to have the biggest PPV? Sadly that's what people seem to care the most about not quality wins.

Floyd would have to do something absurd like fight Sergio Martinez at middleweight. If not he needs to just sit out and wait for pacquiao.

Floyd getting a UD over Berto wont be as impressive as Pacquiao getting a KO or TKO of Mosley. Not only that but Pacquiao-Mosley will easily outsell Mayweather-Berto

Floyd should have fought Cotto at 154 when Margarito got signed against Pacman!!Now Berto is a legit fight for him,but *******s are gonna find a way to lessen the win!!But truthfully taking Berto's title is the best fight for either 1 at the moment,that unifies 147 & the title is a real bargaining tool!!Or Floyd can take k-9's title at 154,he can unify 147 or take another title at 154,he doesn't need to fight Martinez right now,because quite frankly Pacman hasn't fought any one remotely as dangerous as Martinez & Floyd can't beat Martinez just like Pacman can't so fighting him is simply bad management for either!!
