I remember Beristain in Marquez's corner during his fight with Mayweather saying something like " He cant handle more than 3 punch combinations"

Theres a reason why Floyd went on Vacation. He is not confident. He knows Pacquiao's style is a nightmare.

Did you see the DLH fight. DLH was very active and actually made that fight a very close fight.
He was throwing big combinations.
Wether it worked for JMM or not , thats not the point.
JMM was getting countered. Why? He had no business at 145 , he was slow as fk.
We all know Pacquiao throws 6 ,7 punch combos. And that will kill Floyd.
Floyd has great reflexes he has great defense. But he has never seen combos , angles , style like Manny.
He will duck a few punches , but it wont happen all night.
Pacquiao will keep throwing , and Pacquiao will start chatching him
If Floyd fights Manny , I will eat my words of him being a coward. And if hes able to shut Manny donw like he does to his opponents , I will be impressed.
But lets face it. Floyd's last opponents dont compare to Pacquiao's opponents.
Cotto , Clottey , Margarito. They might not be as skilled , but they are top fighters who have their strenghts and posses threats.

1st- DLH was landing on Gloves and Arms the whole fight. If you look at that fight you will see who landed the CLEANER PUNCHES! Also I bet you didnt know that Oscar threw more jabs after the 7th round then he did from rounds 1-6. *cough*cough*..rememeber the "Ohhh Oscar stopped throwing his jab" Crap?...yah thats a myth....

2nd- JMM was able to get countered cuz he was @145lbs? Actually he weighed in @ 142lbs and him being at that weight IS NOT the reason he was able to get countered all fight. You claim he was slow but he threw 100 more punches than Floyd. Also in the 2 fights vs Pac...JMM threw less punches BUT he landed [/I]more and won more rounds out of the 24 rounds they fought.

neither one of these fighters youve mentioned above are anywhere near Mayweather is skill or defense or accurace or ring IQ. None of those 1 dimensonal hype jobs can beat Mayweather....just look at what these dudes were able to do to Pac's face in those fights. Pac is easy to hit and vs the Most Accurate punchers in the history of the sport, he will be sliced up with ease.

The funny thing is people seem to act like Mayweather NEVER throws any combinations...In the mid-late rounds, while he doesn't do his 130 combination punching, he does put together 2-4 punch combos, which for the most part all hit the target...thats as good as any other fighter throwing 6 and landing 3. Effective Aggression.

That is true, floyd throws combos... The stats however, says the combos thrown by floyd is his last 6 fights have deteriorated. His connection rate nevertheless improved.

Comparing his last fight stats to that of Pacs is something boxing fans should study. The volume of punches is worth comparing. Granting that 50% of Pac's punches will not find its mark due to Floyds skills, Pac will still outpunched him by almost 60%.
