Naazim RICHARDSON discusses PACQUIAO (older article, but interesting)

NAAZIM RICHARDSON: “PACQUIAO SHOULD BE TREATED AS A FULL FLEDGED WELTERWEIGHT”

    By Ben Thompson

“Pacquiao is a welterweight, no ifs, ands or buts about it. If Shane was to ever fight Pacquiao, if anybody in our camp told Shane he was the bigger man…Pacquiao should be treated as a full-fledged welterweight,” stated Brother Naazim Richardson, trainer of Shane Mosley, as he recently shared his thoughts on Manny Pacquiao’s dominant win over Miguel Cotto and the possibility of a future clash with the WBA welterweight Chammpion.

“I picked Pacquiao to win…here is the thing. Cotto was doing well early, but he caught Pacquiao with some shlt and thought he was going to walk the smaller man down. Pacquiao is not the smaller man. I see everybody say Mayweather’s picking on the smaller man and all of that crazy ****. Pacquiao is a welterweight, no ifs, ands or buts about it. If Shane was to ever fight Pacquiao, of anybody in our camp told Shane he was the bigger man, I would put them out of our camp…Pacquiao should be treated as a full-fledged welterweight. Don’t meet him at ****; 147,” he remarked.

That fight is more appealing to you than Pacquiao-Marquez III at 140 pounds?

There's not going to be a whole lot of that fancy boxing stuff, this is going to be a war between two animals. Let's be honest here. :wank:
