I don't speak the language, have any of their customs or have any relatives there. I'm not african in any way. If you want to point at ancestry, then every american is african american.

Don't say African American/Black fighters. As a Jamaican I find that incredibly insulting, I'm guessing African fighters would find that insulting too, pretty much any black fighter that is not associated with America.
