Comments Thread For: Khan: I Want To Beat Mayweather Where Hatton Failed

This coming Saturday at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Amir Khan defends his WBA 140-pound title against mandatory challenger Marcos Maidana. Trainer Freddie Roach will be working his corner. There were worries that once Manny Pacquiao announced his retirement, Roach would retire as well. Plans have changed. According to a report in The Sun, Roach told Khan that he will continue training him beyond Pacquiao's retirement.

Floyd picks and chooses his opponents too much. He puts too much thought into it.

He never just picks the hardest fight out there for him. If he did he would just sign to fight Sergio martinez or Pacquiao already. He would have fought Cotto, margarito etc as well.

But khan said he is not quite ready for Floyd which is a bit worrying. I doubt Floyd will fight Khan when khan is ready. If khan isnt ready now, he is maybe overating Floyd.

Except he wouldn't be fighting the same version of Mayweather. Worry about Maidana, enough talk.

Forget Mayweather jr., He's got a lot of Legal problems.

Why not fall in line among those wanting to fight Pacman?

After all, HATTON got KO'd humiliatingly against Pacman!

Khan is a good boxer but I don't think he's ready for Floyd. He must first take care of business at 140 and then go to 147.

I doubt he will ever fight Pac. Would Roach rotate corners every other round? haha.

Khan has the biggest fight of his life coming up Saturday and he's worried about PBF .
