I guess Mayweather should have been waiting next to the phone on Nov 14. Like GBP said, Mayweather not on a Pac clock. It's been 3 ****ing weeks.
What's the most telling thing about the whole GBP/TR situation is that the only real reason why Mosley's even being considered(besides the 2 lackluster fights he had recently) is that he's a free agent.
IMHO as long as Mayweather's associated with with GBP, TR isn't going to try very hard to make the fight happen.
My question is why isn't Pac fight Marquez, the only fighter he's hasn't been able to dominate in his great career, you'd think he'd want to shut JMM up once and for all.Comment

No, to be honest, I see it as Bob Arum and Michael Koncz fault. They're doing the same thing they did with Margarito and telling Pac that "the world" wants to see him fight Mosely. When in actuality, they don't. They tell him that Mosely is the only one that can bring in the big #'s because he is a "superstar" and that Marquez has no drawing power (laughable because if that were the case Mayweather would have never fought Marquez). Bob Arum has already told the world he could give two ****s what the REAL fans want, that the casual fan will buy it. Well Bob SSM may be a superstar, but they're not complete idiots, and have "seen Moselys last 2 fights". Most people were probably kicking themselves for giving in and paying for that joke of a PPV against Mora (although the undercard was pretty good), even after Shane had been completely dismantled by FMJ. I doubt he will draw in the same (poor) ammount of people that he did in that fight, even against Pac. I think SSM drawing power will continue to decrease because of his last two performances, so I believe Arum is fooling himself (and the public) and I think it will show in the PPV numbers.
It's really disappointing that Bob and Koncz continue to sell fights to Manny as something that the public REALLY wants to see.... and that Manny believes it.
I personally believe that a third fight between Pac and Marquez would be a considerably bigger draw (because of their past history, and Juan still continues to look good and competitive) and that the main reason Bob took JMM out of the list of possible opponents is because he is with GBP - period. Even Pacs trainer and conditioning coach want him to fight JMM again.
I'm a big fan of Manny but I think the only way to tell Arum that the fans don't care about the money aspect of the fight, and to give us what we really want to see - is to not continuing to buy fights like this (if he does in fact fight Mosely). We have to show him that we don't want fights that only benefit THEIR pockets and that he had better START caring what the fans really want to see!Comment
