I dont see Canelo calling out Erislandy Lara

At 27 and 13 KOs would he be better fit than Andre Berto, Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacman, for Canelo to fight? He is a Light Middleweight. drinking Koool aid, I think Canelo needs another 40 fights, to be close to being elite enough....

Cotto is the perfect opponent for him. Oscar will fool people in to thinking Cotto is anything but a washed up stepping stone. Alvarez needs to be fighting stepping stones at this point not other prospects.

Why does he get big money fights with stepping stones? Why not fight a prospect with only 13 fights at 27 years of age. That sounds reasonable.

Because that isn't how boxing works. Do you want another Fernando Vargas? Washed up before he turned 25?
