Donaire will be the next Pacquiao

A lot of boxing fans and writers are now comparing Donaire and Pacquiao. Some are even saying Nonito will be the next Pacquiao.

The two are miles apart in boxing styles and demeanor.

Can donaire really be the next Pacquiao? Can he match Pac's accomplishment? Will he be as popular as Pacquiao?

    Thoughts?

They are far apart in styles, but Donaire isn't far apart in greatness. Guy throws so fast of punches its hard to see where they're coming from.

Donaire is a good fighter and one day he might even reach the level of Pac in boxing skills. But he can never be as popular and admired as Pac.

Most of the Filipinos don't like him. He is regarded as arrogant while Pac is the exact opposite... humble at all times.

Look at how Donaire talks... he is ****y.

        Agreed,

Allow him to be train by Roach!

        When Pacman was still in the lower weights division he uses his Left as his vaunted weapon;

Donaire is using his both his fist! Allow him to be train by Roach then Donaire will be more dangerously explosive in his combination!

I can see Donaire fighting those Cuban stars in the near future!

Saul Alvarez is headed for greatness. He will be the next face of boxing, He has the looks, skills, and determination to reach the level once the exclusive domain of ODLH.

I hope his handlers don't screw up his career.

Donaire may be good but he certainly will not be as good as Manny. Donaire is not as good as Manny and he also benefits greatly from his huge size advantage. Also, people need to understand Manny Pacquaios don't come around every decade. He is once in a every 3 or 4 type decade talent. You might see one more Manny Pacquaio talent fighter before you die.

What do you mean by that? I'm Pinoy and Donaire does not strike me as a ****y guy.

like Starkiller mentioned, they are miles apart as far as style goes

Donaire is very 'textbook' sound as far as skills go...he's surgical with his approach

PAC is just a buzzsaw that uses unconventional angles to pick apart his opponents

however, IF Nonito is able to keep carrying his power, he could carve out a nice legacy

there are good fighters in the weight class that he's in...Bantamweight is loaded...then there are the monsters at 126 that he can be matched up with...again...it all depends on how he carries the power
