This guy is not a quality opponent for Wlad to face. However, he was just about the only one out there.

Negotiations with Haye are stalled. Valuev can't fight. Adamek turned them down. Tua turned them down (I dont think he can make the fight until he's completed his obligation to Maori TV). Povetkin bailed.

Maybe as will pick off a few up-and-commers. Remember, Wlad already fought twice this year. If anything, this is just a bonus fight to keep his face in the British headlines until he gets the fight with Haye.
