In all honesty, I wont be surprised if this fight doesn't push through. Maybe Montiel decides to move up and challenge WV2 for a 4th title, earlier than expected.
Although I like Montiel, and he is skillful, but I think he loses to Donaire. Good fight nonetheless, and Montiel will give a good show, and possibly win.
I will be rooting for Montiel if the fight pushes through, but my money on Donaire. I would love to see Donaire vs Mares next or in the future. That is a good match, same size and good boxing. On that fight I would favor Mares to win. But first things first, Montiel vs. Donaire. Donaire by 6-7rd KO.
