Does "Canelo" lack elite power?

I like the kid, he has the makings of a future PPV star, however after watching his last few fights, as well as tonight's, is it me or does "Canelo" lack elit power. Jose Cotto, his is a Lighweight seemed unfazed by Canelo for the most part and N'Dou, who we know has a good beard never appeared hurt despite being outclassed thoroughly. I know "Canelo" is young and his body is still maturing, but its just something I've noticed...

dont matter matter hes 20 now so hes punching power is not going to change when have you seen a guy be a soft hitter at 20 than turn into a knockout machine 5 or 6 years later in his prime, it doesnt happen, the guys got above average power but defintelly not the kind of power people were claiming after the baldomir fight, I think he hits about as hard as a guy like antonio margarito, hes not gonna ko you with 1 shot, but if he keeps landing again and again everntually he'll wear you down and can then take you out
