Why does Mannys opponent have to be marketable?

guys about clottey. there is no other option that time but clottey. he is the only though fighter to fight. you see mosley and berto are scheduled to fight and floyd and manny could not agree with the testing. so aside from clottey, who else?cotto and foremant also scheduled to fight and so is alexander and also bradley.

I know the history, and no Clottey was not the toughest op Manny could have fought at that time.
as far as who, anybody besides Clottey/top rank fighter, Clottey was more a patsy pick.. Sell the "Bigger gujy" bullshyt... The risk in that fight was remopved based on both fighters are under Bobs banner, Bob would not risk Manny losing with a Floyd fight looming....

Boxing economics, it's what its called where better commodity demands higher prize. And no Hatton has brought more to the table than JMM who couldn't even draw flies.

You must be jokin if you think Marquez will win against Pac now. The cry baby is an excellent boxer but Manny is on another level and 3 steps ahead of him now. JMM IMHO is overrated. Style make fights and he presented difficulties for Pac, the same way Pac presented difficulties to him in their 2 fights but Pac would always win 7-8 times if they would fight 10 times.

Honestly, I don't think Manny will gain anything by defeating Marquez again since crybabies will say he just beat an old man who was past his prime. And no, JMM didn't beat Pac twice. First fight was a draw and Pac won the 2nd.

And how long have you been following the sports son? You think you're an expert now? He could be in a HOF but that doesn't mean he's not overrated. You guys think that JMM is just neck to neck when compared to Pacman when in reality they are so much apart in terms of boxing accomplishment.

The quality of opponents Pac beat and the way he beat them will always be a dream for Marquez that's for sure who beat Katsidis, an overrated Diaz, an old Barrera, a pilow-fisted Mallig***gi. An HOFer, 2nd or 3rd ballot may be but not great in my standard.

I really hate Pac vs Mosley, but I have a feeling Top Rank will successfully hype this fight. I honestly didn't think the Margarito fight would do well with the criticism it's gotten, but Bob Arum is apparently the devil.
