the only thing thing baldomir has going for him is his chin. he really slow and not that skilled. he got lucky and hurt zab judah and zab just ran from him for the rest of the fight. then when he fought mayweather i didn't even bother to watch the fight because i thought it was a joke. his career for the most part has been a stepping stone for good fighters

Leading up to the Judah fight, he was 18-0, that's a 18 fight win streak between 1998-2006. He finally lost in 2006 against Mayweather. So he wasn't very skilled and yes he was slow, but he obviously had something was working for him if he was 19-0 before losing from 98-2006.

Actually if you watch the fight in super slow mode, one of the judges jumps into the ring and hits Baldomir in the face with a brick right befor Alvarez hits him….this is was all a set up to make Alvarez looks good and the judges where all part of it…….
