Fighting a 135 lber at a catchweight that he didn't even make and then fighting Mosley then going on vacation doesn't jive with that statement. Mosley was a good win, Marquez was just too damn small. He nailed Mayweather once and it didn't even move him.
Had Manny taken a damn blood test we would not be even having this conversation.

    • If Shane catches Manny with one of those shots he hit Floyd with I think he will KTFO Manny. Manny will be hit he doesn't have near the defense Mayweather has and leaves himself open so Shane will hit him often so I will not be surprised if Pac falls also Shane is strong at 147 so it will be a hellava fight and if Pacman KTFO's Shane I will not want to hear another argument about who is the best fighter in the game hands down it will be Manny!!!! Mayweather fans want have a leg to stand on!

          • I doubt that. I'm not too interested in this fight at this point, I would pick Manny to win but I can't see him knocking out or stopping Mosley.

Another question. Why do Pac fans act like it's a great victory when he wins a fight that he is heavily favoured to win (eg. Clottey and Margarito)?
So fighters who win fights they are favored to win doesn't count as a great fight? (or victory)

Only if the underdog wins does it become a great fight? (or victory)

What planet are you transmitting from?

floyd jr vs mosley was not a good fight for shane but this one i think
he will get up for in a big way.plus i saw a little break in pac when he got
****** to the body against margarito.

                  • Manny Pacquiao is a coward.....

You silly pac-boy's crack me up.

lfc19titles, you just don't seem to understand that the value of a win is determined by the value of your opponent, which is strange, because boxing has always worked that way.

WTF? Give yourself an uppercut. Manny came from 135. The 145lb shrink-wrapped Hoya that fought Manny was a total joke. Dude, how long have you been watching boxing? FACT: Oscar NEVER looked that bad, EVER, before a fight. It is far harder to come down in weight, especially 9lbs to fight in a division that you have not touched for over 7 years.

pac MADE oscar look poor that day, floyd just sneaked in the win while a 130 version of pac beat oscar at 147

The 145lb shrink-wrapped Hoya that fought Manny, was a joke. The version that fought Mayweather was a faded champion fighting at his best weight. The fact that we are even discussing this proves that you either know absolutely nothing about boxing, or you are just being dishonest. Which is it?

7 days is good enough, who is floyd to change the rules of boxing? normal test rules are fine but pac is willing to budge and meet him more than half way

What are you talking about? Pac would not budge on a 24 day cut-off, which is why the negotiations broke down......

The 6 different excuses that came from Team Pac, were just bizarre.

floyd is a coward and the way he had made nut huggers like you act so thick is shocking. now piss off you disgrace to life
Well, I don't really care about Mayweather, so I will not waste my time disagreeing with you. Marquez is my boy.

But I like Manny, well that is..... I used to like him, until the following questions started to gnaw at me. Also, you *******s piss me off with a combination of your abysmal boxing knowledge and your blind assertions that Manny is the GOAT.....

1.) Manny Pacquiao is a coward for claiming to be an 8-division champion, and yet being too scared to EVER fight an actual JMW oppenent.

2.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for ducking Mayweather back in December, either that or he is a steroid cheat. He didn't want none of Mayweather or the tests, thats for sure.

3.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for ducking Sergio Martinez. If JMM can go up two divisions to WW, then surely Manny can defend his JMW title at 154. What a b1tch Manny.

4.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for demanding a catch-weight for Cotto. There are two reasons to demand a catch-weight, either you are not good enough to compete with that fighter at his natural weight, which is fine..... or you are attempting to drain him to gain an unfair advantage, which is cowardly. Team Pacquiao tried to drain Cotto, because Manny had already fought at 147.

5.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for ducking Shane Mosley - TWICE !!

6.) And Manny "padded" Pacquiao is also a dirty coward for refusing to fight Marquez unless the fight is held at 147.

Manny "padded" Pacquiao is a joke. Top Rank smoke and mirrors.

                    Team Pacquiao.....
Still piss-scared of Marquez, since 2004

                    • This is the Clottey fight all over again. There isn't even any hint of challenge here and anyone entertaining the thought that Mosley might land a lucky shot, forget it. Manny's going to start dominating from the opening bell, darting in and out, peppering Mosley with combinations whilst Mosley swings desperately at air. By the mid rounds Mosley's face will be swollen up and puffy, he'll be shaking his hands like crazy and dancing around as Manny stalks him. By the late rounds he'll be taking such a beating that everyone on here will be screaming for them to stop the fight. The last round will see Manny go easy on him and allow him to make it to the final bell a la Margarito. All the Pac fans will praise Manny's dominating performance and merciful attitude towards the end. Everyone else will yawn and ask why Manny didn't knock him out as promised.
