Comments Thread For: De La Hoya on Mosley Leaving: "It's a Slap in The Face!"

"This is my take on Bob Arum saying that Mosley has more of a household name," De La Hoya said. "Mosley's last pay-per-view in September, I think he drew about a thousand people and `Canelo' drew about 10,000 people. And I think `Canelo' drew probably 95 percent of the pay-per-view.

"So Bob Arum is saying, `Well, Mosley's a more credible opponent because he's more marketable.' That's not true, that's not true at all. Marquez is the fighter who everybody knows and who everybody wants to see against Pacquiao."

Mosley vs Pac is BS, but were still gonna be feed it. With that said Delaquitter needs to shut his beak or try to make a Marquez matchup that sounds more appealing to Top Ranks offer

With the way dela hoya keeps on making contradictory statements depending on who's side he is on, its hard to choose who's the bigger liar: Bob Arum or ODLH.

I'm obviously against all three fights, but with that said... Oscar needs to shut up.

What's a shame is having both B-hop and Shane on the shelf for as long as he did without getting them big fights (especially when you look at their age).

That was disgracefully so I'm not shocked at Shane leaving.

Both B-hop and Shane get great wins over Pavlik and Margarito and how are they rewarded? By over a year or so worth on inactivity and bull****ting from a guy/company that is suppose to look after them.

Mosley a partner in GBP my ass.Legally yes he is but he doesnt have any power, they offered a share buy back for $1000 and we all know GBP has grown since it started. If Mosley's stock is only worth $1000 now then what %age of shares does he have?0.000001% maybe. He was just a token black guy to help attract fighters.

I remember when Mosley was claiming he was making $millions from Mayweather's fights since he was a partner, what a joke
