James DeGale challenges for Paul Smith's British super-middleweight crown at the ECHO Arena, Liverpool next Saturday night as he bids to emulate London rival George Groves, who won his first title, the Commonwealth belt, in his ninth fight. DeGale, 8-0 (6), believes that he will come through his toughest test to date to claim with the Lonsdale belt, although he expects to be pushed all the way by the champion.

Chunky's got skills. I would like to see him on his toes more, but the hand speed is there. Nice high guard, and he puts punches together well. He got time, but so far pretty good.

He's on my prospect watch. He's very well rounded.

From what I've noticed though is he's not very well liked by the British. Wierd.

If chunky can beat smith then i believe he can be something special, Am surprised Warren isnt line up bum and padding Degale's record to 25-0 by now.

Smith is a pretty solid opponent for only his 9th pro fight. This will be a tough test for DeGale. He looks like a future Champion.
