      that cut was from Lewis' glove (not the end, but the tape / string area)

      but one way of looking at this question is...
      Lewis was the toughest because of what it may have done to VK's mentality, being that it was a loss for VK ..

            however, Lewis was his toughrest opponent, in the other 3 matches he was never in any difficulties (althought sanders fought a great match)

              I think Corrie Sanders was probably the biggest test, because he definitely clocked Vitali pretty good w/ some of those shots. Lennox Lewis was one tough fight, but I think Lennox would have went down the next round barring the cut, he barely got up from his stool to to interviews.

                  LL was by far the toughest, VK's face should show that. VK showed alot of heart in that fight but it was only a matter of time, and VK had lost the 5th and 6th round after winning the 1st 4, it was only going to get worst, LL was just going to continue beating his face in until he fell. LL would never give up no matter how tired he was, He is always able to go 12rounds, his conditioning should never be questioned.
