He seems to have the talent to go far in that division but im not sure about his ability to take a punch.
I agree his chin is a bit of cause for concern ,well see how it plays out only time will tell........

A lot of his recent fights have been at 150, he looks like he's headed for JMW.

Everybody keeps acting like he can 147 easy, but why does he keep on fighting above 147?
What's the point of a fight at 150?

            Aaaah interesting. Good approach.

I like the way theyre handling Canelo.

It's great he's not being pushed too hard, too early.

got ya, but Canelo also holds a Silver title at Junior Middle (referenced in the article)

so if you're defending a belt at Super Welter, why make fights at a catchweight?

right but 147 is Welterweight where 150 is Super Welter, and at 150 he's still a Super Welterweight/Junior Middle ... so is Canelo making his fights purposely at 150 as a future plan to campaign at Welter?

^ I thought Canelo fought at Welter before. COulda sworn I've seen some of his fight weights listed at or around what Welterweight would be

well fighting at Junior Middle and holding a title there, I'd have to think Canelo has the more realistic future at Junior Middle. but fighting at 150 does make me think he possibly might move down to Welter next year

Gotta give it to Ndou....what he lacks in skill he makes up for in desire, will and conditioning. I read a few years back that he does 100 pushups on the hour every hour no matter where he is.

apparently even in lectures at university his watch alarm goes off and he excuses himself and does his hundred.
