Comments Thread For: Weights: Nonito Donaire 118, Wladimir Sidorenko 117.6

The weights are in for Saturday's "In Harms Way" pay-per-view from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Top Rank is promoting the show. Bantamweights Nonito Donaire and Wladimir Sidorenko had no issues making weight. Donaire was ripped at 118-pounds on the nose, while former champion Sidorenko was 117.6

I thought Donaire-Sidorenko was going to be at 115?

I don't like the way Antillon looks in the pic...If he is not drained he can beat Soto.

Nonito Donaire: Future P4P #1 (if he stays in the lower weights).

It was always planned for 118.

A natural set-up for the Montiel fight.

        Why are you concerned?

Syd is a natural 118 fighter.

This could be a real fight for Donaire. Sidorenko has only lost twice, and that was to Moreno, and those were close. And Moreno pops on on a couple P4P lists around the fight community, including the one of this site. So Donaire moving up in weight, and already having the fight with Montiel scheduled, could make this an upset alert type fight. I hope not, Donaire appears to be the truth.
