very good point. khan is weak to the body. iv seen him get hurt numerous times to the body in the past but the commentators never pointed it out. tho maidana is so slow on his feet i dont know if he will get a chance to get close and throw ay good body punches.

I haven't laughed this hard in a while.

At first I had no doubts that Khan was getting knocked out, but the more I think it about it the more I see it ending the other way around. Maidana needs to be careful.

I've got to give props for khan to take this fight. It will be the hardest of his career by a mile. So far he has fought only light handed fighters excluding bradis (sp) Maidana has to use technical and calculated aggression, if he wades in going for the money punch he will be picked off all night and eventually tko'd. He has to be prepared to take loads of punches and choose his times to unload, khan can be quite elusive when he's under pressure so maidan shouldnt be put of if he's punching air for a few rounds. If maidana catches khan then it's all over and khan wont come back.

whats with all the nonsense that khan took this fight with maidana to prove his critics wrong? the only reason khan agreed to fight maidana was because maidana requested a purse bid that forced khans decision. if khan had waited for the sanctioning bodies to order a purse bid, then someone like warren could of bought the rights and promote the fight which khan did not want to happen. the only other option on a purse bid is to vacate the title but then khan would look more like a pansy, similar to rid**** bowe, and would lose his credibility as a top notch fighter. that being said, i do give khan a chance but would require amir to run the whole fight like with kotelnik, which will be as boring to watch as a ****o featuring barbra bush. (side note barbra bush is a great name for a ****star). unfortunately from roachs comments of waiting to attack marcos till the later rounds is an indictaction that khan will have his track shoes on and that roach does not believe that khan has the chin to stand and trade with the heavy hitting maidana. so even though i am hoping for a great match, evidence is starting to show this could be snoozer unless maidana can outrun a runner

Ha, that's from my imageshack! I made that picture a couple of months ago.

                  Here's the full-sized version:

It's being taken out of context. It was for the Khan fans that think Maidana won't land one punch the whole fight. Those exaggerated punchstats show the ridiculousness of it. Even the best defensive fighters get hit. Khan will get hit. That's what makes it such a good fight.

unless ariza has developed a milkshake that strenghtens your chin or improve punch resistance, I think khan goes down ala pwill. I think el chino by murderous ko. Khan is either the new olijade or michael nunn. Sooner or later his suspect chin catches up with his supposedly blinding speed and amazing skills. One of the things you can't teach in boxing is punch resistance.

Anyways, we'll find out soon enough if he has to change his name to A Mere Con permanently.
