    In the next two weeks, promoter Lou DiBella plans to sit down with WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, and adviser Sampson Lewkowicz, to finalize an opponent for a March date on HBO. The preference by Team Martinez is a catch-weight showdown with WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto. Martinez is willing to squeeze down to 155-pounds to defend his belt against Cotto in March.

          Martinez-Cotto makes all the sense in world right now. Martinez doesn't want to go to super middle because all of the gtop guys there are on Showtime. Pac is too chicken**** to fight him. And Cotto seems to have no interest in fighting any of the other top guys at 154. So right now, they're perfect for each other. Martinez has a lot of holes in his game. Unfortunately for Cotto, I don't think being shorter, smaller, and slower he's gonna be able to exploit them.

              He doesn't really want Marg and reports are that he wants sergio, yet I know we will get cotto-marg

                      Stop being a pig Arum and let these guys get it on!!! Margarito can get his in June!!! This fight would be FOTY type stuff. I think Sergio stops Cotto late but you never know.

                              He's only got a few fights left in him so he might as well go all out for a 4th weight division. He has nothing to loose. Two of my favorite fighters I'd pay for this fight.
