It does make money sense no doubt, but it doesn't make sense in any other way.

Mosley was past his best when he fought Floyd but was coming off a very good win over Margarito. In this case, Mosley's coming off a wide decision loss to Mayweather and a dull fight with Sergio Mora (although arguably he won it).

And lets be fair, if it is all about money like a few of you are saying, surely there's more money in fighting JMM for a third time. Mexicans would buy it, Americans would buy it, it would sell out any stadium and if it were PPV in Britain I'd buy it for sure.

I'm not a Pacquiao hater but his promoters are giving him easier options with similar paydays. Marquez makes sense in every single way possible, Mosley doesn't.
