i mean it's widely known around boxing circles that it's okay for a super great fighter to fight an average fighter... just not on PPV and not back-to back.

manny has broken all these rules.

          True.

But the thing is Floyd wasn't draining the boxing fans pockets by fighting all these guys on PPV.

Hahaha.. Nobody is left dissappointed in a Pac PPV event (except Clottey and Barrera fight.. but not exactly his fault).. No one walks out of his fights not like some fighters I know...

Really? That is well known? How?

You know that rule didn't stop your boy Oscar right?

His power wasn't deemed a huge risk? According to who? You? LOL at that comment, you are just making up stuff now. I mean, did you NOT see the two huge shots he landed in the 2nd round? I guess that wasn't a risk...give me a break.

Btw this welter bollox does not matter, floyd spars with freaking middle weights.
Come on kid, there is a HUGE difference between sparring and actually fighting. Save that. He will be even older when he fights Manny...so um, yea.

And, I didn't bother reading all that other stuff because you are not making any sense. Answer my question...didn't you say that Floyd would never fight Shane?

When is the last time Pacquiao fought a legit opponent that wasn't beaten up badly or KTFO a fight or two before fighting PACMAN?

I'll give him a slight pass on the Mayweather debacle because I don't see Floyd going out of his way to make that fight happen.

With that said Manny Pac avoided Shane Mosley until Shane got beat up badly by Floyd. He refuses to fight the man that has given him his toughest fight as a progessional, JMM. There are young lions out there like Andre Berto and Tim Bradley. The #2 pound for pound fighter in the world, Sergio Martinez, is only seven pounds away from him and he wants no part of that action.

Pacquiao has gone from a lovable fighter to an overpaid, fraudelent, greedy coward.

Manny Pacquiao, Arum and Roach can all eat a d*ck! There laughing at the idiot boxing fans that shell out money to watch him beat up glorified sparring partners like Clottey, Margs, Hatton and now Mosley.

This is not about being a ***** or a ******* or whatever other corny ass name people come up with. This is about being a long time boxing fan being fed up with the so called greatest fighter of the sport today.

I give props to fighters like CARL FROCH, ANDRE WARD, PAUL WILLIAMS, SERGIO MARTINEZ, JEAN PASCAL, JMM (total man crush...no ****) and even the KLITSHKOS (they fight anybody).

Those aforementioned names are true warriors and ambassadors for the sweet science of boxing.

I wish Pacquiao and to a lesser extent Mayweather would just go away and stop making a joke out of the sport.
I understand all your points, but let's take a look back at his last 5 fights:

ODLH: Oscar fought Steve Forbes at a catch weight of 150lbs. Remember Oscar was tuning up for Mayweather in the rematch. He was claiming that 147 was when he was at his best and that was the weight he wanted to fight Floyd. Floyd then retired a few months after so Oscar challenged Manny who just fought his first fight at 135 lbs and just fought JMM that same year at 130 to come up to 147 limit.

Hatton: Manny fought Hatton at Hatton's best weight. He did lose to Mayweather his last fight.

Cotto: Cotto and Moseley were the best at 147. Mayweather just fought a few months back so he was not available. Remember, Cotta is also with Arum so it only makes sense to fight Cotto. They will get the 100% split, plus Moseley is part owner of Golden Boy so its a little tougher to make the fight with Top Rank and Golden Boy history.

Clottey: This fight was to salvage the date reserved for Manny and Floyd when the negotiations fell through. Clottey was also with Arum so negotiations are quick and easy.

Margarito: This fight like the last one was to salvage the date reserved for Manny and Floyd. But Floyd said he had no intentions to box and was on vacation. Like Clottey, Margarito was with Arum so negotiations was easier. They get all the money plus the story line was Manny going for his 8th division title.

Moseley: If this fight happens, its probably the combination of 2 things. Moseley leaving Golden Boy and sign for one fight with Top Rank and he has the bigger name than Berto. These 2 things equals money for Top Rank. Marquez is with Golden Boy who is asking for too much, and Sergio might just be too big for Manny.

As you can see, there's extra incentives for Manny and Top Rank to take his last 3 fights. Many thought Cotto was too big, and the two after him were fights to salvage the fight dates. They were both with Top Rank so negotiations and the split was easier. Top Rank gets 100% of the promotions.

Joshua Clottey. Dude had never been clearly beaten in his life. But he doesn't count for some reason, right?

He never avoided Mosley. He fought Cotto, and when he could have fought him earlier this year Mosley already had a fight. Sergio Martinez is a middleweight. Pacquiao is barely a welterweight.
