Well because hes not a threat according to *******s. JMM is the only one to actually put combos on Pac. To be honest he looked good against Katsidis. Yea he got dropped but he got right back up and BEAT UP Katsidis in the same round. Katsidis hits like a mule. Really who has PAC knocked out with one punch power since Hatton? JMM is filling and adjusting to 140. He came in 144 and looked like he was in good shape and reflex. The reason he gets hit is because hes not a cautious fighter anymore. He adjusted himself to more of a brawler to market himself a little better. It just comes with the territory. Roach knows JMM still a live threat thats why he is making the fight at 147. Mosely came from a loss and a draw and now he gets Manny?

        It means nothing above 135.

The only 2 fighters Pac should fight at 147 is Floyd or Berto and that is it...Anything else at 147 is garbage.

Does the weight class even matter since on fight night Pacquiao will be 148 and Marquez will be 145?

Yes. There's a big difference training for a 135 fight and training and fighting for a 147 fight. Also Pacquiao has shown to be effective at 147. Marquez hasn't.

What's this big difference though? If they fight at 147 they'll be 148 and 145 on fight night. If they fight at 135, they'll be 147 and 145 on fight night. The only difference is they won't have to cut weight for the weigh in.

From what I am getting with that statement is you comparing Katsidis and Pac power? Is that what you're doing?

And, yes above 135 it is a mismatch.

Shame on Pac for trying to cherrypick JMM at 147.

135 or no fight is plain and simple.

Say what you want about Mosley, but the guy has a punchers chance against Pacquiao early on. I think it would be more interesting to see if Pac can be the first to knock him out. I know Mosley is not what he once was but we've already seen the Marquez fight two times. Marquez might put up a better fight but he's old now and Pac won't get the respect he wants if he beats him more convincingly this time around. One thing about fighting Mosley is the fact we don't know for sure what will happen if he lands some hard stuff early on. Its the theater of the unexpected that makes that fight a bit more intriguing to me.
