Oh, i'm sure he has the power alright, but as a lot of people noted, he no longer has the stamina to put it to use.
The man is shot and gasses out quick. I REALLY, REALLY hope Pac won't take this fight.Comment

lol @ this ******* trying to hype up the fightSHANE MOSELY: "I GOT THAT POWER TO CRACK THAT CHIN"
By Ben Thompson | December 03, 2010
"Marquez fighitng Pacquiao? Come on. I mean, Marquez, at lightweight, he's good, but he's too little [for Pacquiao]. He's too small. He's way too little," commented three-division champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley when asked about his thoughts on a potential third clash between pound-for-pound champion Manny Pacquiao and WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez. Currently vacationing in the Ba*****, Mosley still sounds confident that he's next in line to face the Filipino superstar. "I got that power to crack that chin. I ain't worried about all that other stuff," he continued, stressing that at 147 pounds, Marquez will no longer have the necessary strength and power to be able to deal with Pacquiao.
It's a valid point that Mosley brings up, especially considering that the last two times Marquez faced Pacquiao, he was fortunate to sc**** himself off the canvas 4 different times in bouts that took place at Featherweight (126 pounds) and Super Featherweight (130 pounds). Given that Arum has declared that Pacquiao's next fight will indeed take place at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds, it's hard to imagine how Marquez will be able to handle his power in a weight class 2 divisions higher than the one he currently fights in (135 pounds). If his fight last year with Floyd Mayweather is any indication, Marquez will be at a severe disadvantage if he's forced to fight as a welterweight. Weighing in at 142 pounds, he looked slow and sluggish, unable to mount any type of offense (landing just 69 punches) throughout the course of 12 rounds against the naturally bigger Mayweather. With Pacquiao now a full-fledged welterweight, the performance likely wouldn't be that much better.
"Like I said, he just destroyed Margarito and I destroyed Margarito, so it only makes sense that the two guys that destroyed Margarito come together and fight," Mosley would add. "Margarito dusted off everybody else, but he got knocked out by me and he got destroyed by Pacquiao, so it's only right. Styles make fights, so let's see what happens!"
Something tells me that on April 16, 2011, we will get to see what happens.

I think you're the one who looks like a crybaby here
Pac can retire right now and already miles away from Floyd.. Just wait in 2020 maybe Floyd have a chance to get the fighter of the decade

I also think Mosley beats Berto. I think Mosley really does have a better chance against Pacquiao than Marquez also. Because the only way either man beats Pacquiao is by knockout. Marquez simply can't outpoint Pacquiao now. Mosley can't either. IMO. Mosley is by no means a better boxer than Marquez but he's bigger and stronger and faster and even more durable. I don't see how it's debatable who the guy with the better chances is, really.Comment

hmm,if marquez is being a diva with ego pay demands and weight moans he will only get a fight with another lightweight and he just lost both fights, the ref made a wrong decision in the first fight,so pac won that, and pac won the 2nd one again also.
if marquez cant come in inbetween light welter and weltereight and still be effective he might aswell not even try fight at that weight,if pac fights him and beats him people will blame the weight for marquez losing not pac improving and marquez pretty much staying the same but looking good verus small brawlers!.
mosley isnt a big sell if you look at mosleys 2 previous fights and win lose draw ratio.the story and the sell is the 3rd fight marquez the last guy to even come close to beating pacman.
Mosley does have that crazy knock out power if he can catch manny, and you know hele be going for that body,he should know he cant outbox manny, and manny will outbox him so he needs to go for broke bigtime and set up his big shots early. that fight could go either way KO wise and it could be a big tear up,or pac dominates shane with speed and movement.
marquez is actually the safer easier fight for manny to take.
both will sell better than clottey and diaz so whats arums beef!
berto, hes faced no one good. he lost to collazo, priced out of mosley fight the 2nd time of negotiations.
mosley vs berto, cotto and williams should happen and would all be entertaining.
i think mosley would KO berto quickly.
close fight again with cotto, goes either way,at 154 ide say for title of cotto.
williams vs mosley is a big brawl. i could see mosley doing what martinez already did.Comment

Mosley does have the Power to crack that chin, but at 135lb JMM is a bigger threat then Mosley to Pac..But the fight would be fought at 147lb so Mosley is the better fight imo....Comment
