Marquez to fight on Jones-Tarver undercard

According to Marquez' boxrec, he will fight undefeated Chris John of Indonesia who is the current WBA Featherweight Champion (Marquez is the WBA "super" champion).

    http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=012222

I was hoping Marquez will fight big name featherweights such Chi or Harrison or move up to superfeather for the big money.

Prediction: Marquez by a lopsided UD

      hmm

The only reason you don't consider John good is because you know nothing about him. Fact is, he is better than Harrison and is plenty of a challenge for Marquez. This makes the Jones-Tarver card more legit.

Marquez already priced himself out of a fight with Pacquiao...

I'd like to know man. Why you think he's got potential? How he fight? He gonna beat Marquez you think? I've always thought he's jest anotha fighta who pillowed up his record, but maybe you can fill us in.

I just noticed in boxrec, Marquez just turned 32 yesterday. He's not getting any younger, he better make his move ASAP.

Most people remember him for refusing to take the rematch with Pac. He was offered more money to fight Erik Morales and Marquez chickened out as well.

Well he's not getting any younger and he keep stepping back. Maybe it will help him beating John more then beating a Thai challanger who Pac took it out in the 1st round. But JMM already price himself out twice with Pac and Morales. So he's chickened out twice on big fights.

What's youre point? What does this have to do with Marquez fighting on the Tarver-Jones card.
