Martinez is the strongest boxer he'll ever fight.

Reach will be tough to overcome.

        Martinez-76' Cotto 67

        I'll be pulling for Cotto.

        But I favor Martinez.
        Very wise.....

Martinez would be the slight favorite because IMO 155 is more of a natural weight for him. But yeah Cotto has a great chance, in a big part because of Martinez's defense or lack of there of. Martinez fights with his hands down and though he has quick feet and has great ackward body movements to avoid punches he still gets hit a lot when he stands in there to trade.

Cotto is also great at cutting off the ring and Martinez won't be able to just "dance around" like he did with Pavlick and many others.

To me it's a toss up fight with a slight edge to Martinez but many people are overrating Martinez(I love his style and I'm a big fan of his) because of the vicious KO he had over PWill and don't give Cotto a chance.

Cotto's biggest weakness:Volume, pressure and the uppercut.(and Pac)

Martinez dosen't really do these things.
