The *****s should teach Marquez not to kiss the canvass so often against Pacquiao. Marquez is a very good fighter with stylistic nightmare for Pacquiao. The problem is JMM can't take Pac punches. The mean reason why he lose both fights.

First fight - Judge admitted scoring error he made.

Second fight - The ref failed to see the second knockdown when JMM held the ropes preventing himself not to go down again and saved by the bell went to the wrong corner.

                * Pacquiao wins the vacant Ring Magazine jr. lightweight world title. Ring Magazine awarded the belt to Pacquiao but did not believe he won the fight.

HBO PPV Executive Mark Taffet reported that this fight generated a record 400,000 buys representing $20.2 million in sales. The results were the most for any pay-per-view telecast at a weight below welterweight in boxing history.
Wouldn't it be great if the rest of Latin America's richest men would do like Carlos Slim and help pay a pension to retired boxers?

Too bad Mayweather is MIA isn't it? He 's one of my 4 favorite boxers along with J M Marquez, Abner Mares and Yuriorkis Gamboa.

when marquez/katsidis was going on, larry merchant went on to say during the fight that "alot of people felt that marquez won atleast one fight"...merchant went on to say "well im not one of them"...then lampley responded with "same here"

so who won both pac/marquez fights can be debated over and over...both fights were close to a point that it didnt matter who won. atleast it was scored very close compared to the first castillo/mayweather that had floydie winning a fight that he got outlanded 2 to 1...i dont know how a boxer can be outlanded by a 2 to 1 margin and still win...that my friends, the first mayweather/castillo fight is more questionable then either of pac/marquez fights.
Good points except for quoting Larry Merchant. He's a Mexiphobe and will always go against Mexicans.
