This is extreamly dissapointing. I have been really hoping this fight would be made and we would get a great action packed fight with two warriors who have produced 2 of the most spectacular battles of the last decade.
Instead, pacman will again fight another cheater who has zero chance of even really testing him. I don't know who's more to blame, Arum or team Marquez but either way, the best fighter in the world has a tremendous waste of time on his hands. Just great.

Many factors to be considered to be the most credible...

They have full bargaining power. JMM is the most credible opponent outside of Fraud.

Let Pac fight Mosley and fail on ppv. Then maybe he'll learn not to be bitchmade.

In what sense is Marquez the most credible opponent outside of Fraud?
In what factors that made him most credible? Before you could say he's that credible than other fighters, we have to consider different factors...We have to consider fighters lined up for Pac, that is Marquez, Moseley & Berto...

1.Weight Factor
2.Performance Factor
3.Age Factor
4.Achievements or Record Factor
5.PPV Potential

1.Weight Factor - According to Arum, Pac's natural weight today is in welterweight limit of 147lbs, true to his last 3 fights where he weighs 144, 145, & 144...Marquez I think is not effective in 147lbs as what we've seen in his fight against Floyd, which made him not credible to fight Pac at this weight limit...And that makes other fighters like Berto & Moseley more credible to consider....Marquez at 135 - yes, at 140 maybe, at 147 maybe not...
2.Perfomance Factor - I think Marquez fares most here since fighting 5 elite fighters after Manny, he showed great performance & only lost once to Floyd...Unlike Moseley who has bad performances & Berto has a questionable victory against Collazo which I believe he lost...
3.Age Factor - Berto(27) the most credible in this factor while Marquez(37) still has it & Moseley(39) has already shown old age w/ his last 2 fights...
4.Achievements or Record Factor - Maybe both Moseley & Marquez fares much greater here while their young counterpart Berto, even undefeated hasn't fight an elite fighter yet...
5.PPV Potential - Arum knows best, Moseley even with his last 2 poor performances fight & old age still overpowers Marquez when comes to PPV & Berto the least...
