GBP really is a dirtball promotional company.

First they attack Arum verbally and with lawsuits right after his son die's, and than they say well look past the beef to get Marquez his triligy with Pacman.

All the same time, they made him fight MAB and Juarez before they even tried to get him a shot at Pacman for the 2nd fight.

GBP might help get you on HBO, but you'll know they don't give a **** about you when it's all said and done.

see,nothing is set yet till manny and roach decide.

my thinking is that manny and roach will want to shut up marquez,but are concerned it might not be a sexy brawl fight that gives most satisfaction to the most people.

but also they will want to shut marquez up and prove doubters wrong,also they have slight weight and a speed advantage,they arent in danger KO wise by marquez than what shane could do if he can land enough on pac.

they may want mosley cuz they know he can be outboxed.

but also hes older,past his best,and not on a good run of form.

both guys lost to floyd,but marquez lost better,with weight being a major issues as a full 147er for his first time skipping 140 compleletly.

seems marquez and schaffer seem greedy,arrogant to think they deserve more than what they got vs floyd.

they arent doing what they need to do to fight,im sure Golden boy would rather have marquez in easier fights than manny where they also earn more money,and less risk there.

egos need to be put aside,consideration for boxing fans and legacy/history needs to be there.

Arum is right about one thing.

De La Hoya is nothing but a **** for brains errand boy who cant think on his feet to save his life.

This could have been a trilogy over 4 or 5 years ago if Marquez had agreed to fight Manny right after their first fight for 750k, he turned it down. He then got offered $3 million (as stated on HBO) and turned it down to fight Manny a third time. That is twice he has STRAIGHT UP turned down a fight with Manny and now, and for some reason it works on boxing fans (the idiots anyway) Manny is somehow ducking him. The guy already ducked Manny twice in back to back bouts, got DOMINATED on the biggest stage of his career, and is now left begging for Manny to fight him.

Also, why do people think Marquez is actually any good anymore? Floyd has the same speed as Manny and Marquez looked like he was underwater against him. Also the last two guys he's beaten are AT BEST B level fighters both of which simply come forward with no head movement. Manny does everything those two did 10x's faster, 10x's stronger and he does MUCH MUCH more, Marquez doesn't stand a chance. That being said, Manny not fighting him has nothing to do with him winning or losing, because Manny will KO him in 10 rounds easily. However, he won't look like a beast doing it, he'll look vulnerable against the guy who Mayweather had looking ****** and thats the only reason they aren't fighting he'll make Manny look bad. Basically Manny is taking the Floyd approach, except Manny's already beat him once.

Still I got no problems if Manny doesn't want to fight him as he's already turned Manny down so why can't Manny do the same? If he blames it on money so be it, Marquez had his chances and he got screwed in the long run he's got no one to blame but himself. And I don't get why Marquez is the one who is asking for a catch-weight... he lost the time they faced, he should take whatever Manny gives him, and he turned down 3 million so I have no sympathy for this old, one-dimensional fighter who turned down what could have been fight #2 and #3.

Ask nate cambell if he thinks golden boy is a ****ty company. One thing about nate is that he speaks his mind.Thing is they put you in hard fights and test their prospects, while arum over protects them and feeds bums to his champs. Golden boy= good for boxing
