The vacant bantamweight "regular" title of the World Boxing Association will definitely be at stake on December 26 when Alexander "Explosivo" Munoz takes on Koki Kameda of Japan. This was officially ruled by the WBA, who consulted the medical advisory committee who recommended that the Venezuelan Lorenzo "Lencho" Parra not fight Kameda after coming in very overweight when he stepped on the scale at his required 30-day weigh-in. Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno is the WBA's "super" champion at bantamweight.
