What will happen to Top Rank post-Arum?

Will the replacement hold the same influence and respect? Will Golden Boy eventually hold TR's fighters and establish themselves as the premier and undisputed promotion that will finally put on great matches?

Most likely some new bozo will take his place and the top rank revolving door will continue to spin

Arum's stepson, Todd DuBoef, has been groomed for years to take over. As long as he retains the top talent, Top Arum will be here for a long time. Don King, on other hand, hasn't made any such arrangements.

Todd DuBoef sounds like he would be creative and shape the future of boxing better than the short term > long term view Arum has carried around.

Hopefully he does and isn't just another asshole in a position of power.

It will still be huge but not the same

When the best promoter in history leaves, it is bound to change

i think Todd DuBoef will do just fine...

a lot of the strain between TR and GBP mainly stems from Arum...from what i've read, DuBoef is the one that can actually talk to other promoters and get fights done

It could actually be better, though not necessarily bigger. Or, it could disappear...
